Our Story

A Studio Built Around Better Use

Fabric Finesse was founded by Janelle Cruz in 2016 with a focus on thoughtful remodelling and clothing alterations. The studio serves clients who want garments updated with care rather than replaced.

Over the years, the studio has worked with clothing that needed a new shape, a better fit, or a fresh purpose. That includes dresses, skirts, shirts, jackets, and fabric reuse projects that turn usable material into something new.

We are careful not to overpromise. Some garments can be redesigned in many ways, while others are limited by fabric condition, seam allowances, or construction details. We explain those limits before work begins.

Clients come to us for practical guidance, written scope, and a fitting process that stays grounded in the garment itself. The goal is to make each piece more useful, more wearable, and more aligned with how it will actually be worn.
